: English boxwood : Ken Kelly 09 September, 2005, 12:59 Hi William,
How is life? Good I hope. I have a question for you. I am looking for english boxwood for engraving for woodprinting. The genus I have been given is 'Buxus Sempervirens'. Have you heard of this? Do you have any? They say the endgrain is the best for wood engraving. regards Ken : Re: English boxwood : barry noyce 15 September, 2005, 23:45 hi
came across this message when trundling around the net and thought i'd let you know that i have a small quantity of buxus sempervirens - max diameter about 4" which i'll never get around to using so if it is of use you are welcome to the three feet or so that I have. I live in north tipperary regards : Re: English boxwood : Ant Eather 08 October, 2005, 22:29 Oooooooo Mr. noyce, I bet you just would give that 3ft of your boxwood to someone with no charge...that's 36 inches, you never mentioned it.... ::)
: Re: English boxwood : barry noyce 09 October, 2005, 21:03 It might be thirty six inches but it's still never been used as a rule.
