Well, the river of spam started to flow again immediately!
So, I'm afraid that registration for membership will have to be done manually by email.
Our apologies!

I've reactivated the Forum here again, just to see if there will be another river of spam or not.

Unfortunately, several thousand attempts by spammers to register as members of this forum in recent months (despite the highest security settings possible) have made it neccessary to disable membership applications through the normal method on the forum itself.

If you would like to become a member, please e-mail us at and we will be very happy to add you as a member manually.

Thank you.

Hi all,

I hope someone on here can help, I'm looking for cylindrical hardwood dowel with a diameter of 30 - 40 mm.
I teach a martial arts class and we use staffs of various size's in the training, ranging from 3 foot to 6 foot in length

Normally we have to send off to the UK or Japan for these weapons but I'm hoping to find a supplier for the wood here in Ireland.
Ideally I'm looking for oak but any hardwood would do.

Thanks for your time
