Getting started in turning small wood projects (pen/pencil sets, candle sticks, etc). Any recommendations on what brand/model lathe to buy? Turning tools? Have looked at Jet, and also a few "package" deals that include a lathe, wood blanks, tools, etc. Are they dodgy? Are indexing heads available on smaller lathes?
