Hello forum, Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced (max 350) high quality router ? I made the mistake of getting a cheap one which didn't last long. Thanks.

I've got a De Walt router - DW625 I think - and it has done us well for 2 years now.   Powerful and effective enough.   I have a small one as well, but the weight of this one, and the power of it, make it much more stable and reassuring to use.

The most demanding job for any router , is routing stair strings.

And the best product I have used down through the years ,
is the Hitachi . Choose the top of the range model.
